This Shipping Policy outlines how orders placed with Ruhita are processed, dispatched, and delivered. By placing an order with us, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.

Order Processing Timeline

Once an order is placed and payment is confirmed, our team begins preparation for dispatch.

  • Standard order processing time is 1 to 3 business days.
  • Orders that include tailoring, size adjustments, or special modifications may require additional processing time and will be communicated accordingly.
  • During seasonal sale periods, festivals, or promotional events, processing times may be extended.

Orders are processed and shipped Monday through Saturday. Orders placed on Sundays or public holidays will be processed on the next working day.

Shipping Methods and Delivery Timelines

Ruhita partners with reputable courier and logistics services to ensure timely delivery across India.

  • Estimated delivery within 5 to 9 business days for most locations.
  • Remote locations or areas with limited courier coverage may require additional time.

Delivery timelines are estimates and may fluctuate due to circumstances outside of our control (e.g., weather, service disruptions, regional restrictions, or carrier delays). We are not liable for such delays, but we will assist in tracking and resolving concerns wherever possible.

Shipping Charges

  • Shipping charges, if applicable, will be displayed at checkout before order confirmation.
  • In some promotional campaigns, free shipping may be offered on a minimum order value.

Cash on Delivery fees, where available, will be mentioned separately at checkout.

Tracking Your Shipment

Once dispatched, customers will receive a shipping confirmation email or message with tracking information. Tracking updates may take up to 24 hours to reflect with the courier partner.

Customers are responsible for reviewing tracking updates and coordinating with the courier if delivery attempts fail.

Delivery Attempts and Non-Delivery

Courier partners will typically attempt delivery two to three times. If delivery is unsuccessful due to:

  • incorrect or incomplete address,
  • unavailability at the address,
  • refusal to accept the package,

the order may be returned to our facility. In such cases, reshipping charges may apply. No refund will be processed for orders returned due to delivery failure; store credit may be issued at Ruhita’s discretion.

Damaged Deliveries

If a package appears tampered with or damaged at the time of delivery:

  • Please refuse delivery and notify us immediately at info@ruhita.in.
  • If you accept the parcel and later discover damage, contact us within 48 hours with supporting visuals (images and/or an unboxing video).

Approved cases will be resolved through replacement, reshipment, or another suitable remedy.

Change of Address

Address changes may be accommodated before dispatch by emailing support@ruhita.in with your order number and corrected address. After dispatch, address changes are not guaranteed and may result in additional charges if redirection is possible.

Order Cancellation Before Shipping

Cancellations are accepted within 12 hours of placing the order, provided the order has not been packed or dispatched. Once shipped, cancellations are not possible; please refer to our Return Policy instead.
